I have been thinking lately of how much fear is being used against us. Fear for our health, fear of rights being taken away, fear of the unknown, fear of others.
Notice how our media uses fear to increase views so they make more advertising money. Advertisers, in turn, use fear to encourage us to buy their medicine or insurance plans.
I’ve been told that the Bible has 365 “fear not” verses in it. That’s one “fear not” for every day of the year.
We’re to fear God, but not anything else. We’re to trust God for those things.
Those are the thoughts that came to mind when I stumbled on this quote by C.S. Lewis today:
