“…I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
I don’t believe bad things come from God. I believe bad things come from the evil one. I learned this as a 10-year-old living in a boarding school; evil was present and God showed up to help me through it. He did not rescue me, but He comforted me, and through that experience, God turned the evil to good in many ways, the most significant that I am a better mother than I could have ever been without that moment in the grips of hell.
When God allows the evil one’s ways to happen, we can be assured that this does not mean the evil one is winning. Have hope. We are on the side that wins.
“You pushed me violently that I might fail, but the Lord helped me. The Lord is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation.” (Psalm 118)
