Since we’re in touch with the whole world (seriously, the whole world …. I was able to watch a Papua New Guinea tribal wedding through Facebook this week), it’s easy to be concerned about the whole world.
What shall I do to help them? What can I do? What should I do? What…
…and so on, the questions roll through my mind, one after another, until I am paralyzed with overwhelm.

Then, I remembered this quote:
“But where was I to start? The world is so vast, I shall start with the country I know best, my own. But my country is so very large. I had better start with my town. But my town, too, is large. I had best start with my street. No: my home. No: my family. Never mind, I shall start with myself.”
Elie Wiesel, Souls on Fire
Ah, yes, I know where to start!
