This site is my online journal, often copied from my paper one. Topics I’ll write about will include what I’m currently learning, presently doing & what I’m thinking about lately.
Just Pure Lovely was the name of my blog a while ago, based on Philippians 4:8, which advises us on how to not be anxious. “Think on the “good, just, pure, lovely,” etc. I still have to do that. I get anxious, and have to keep focusing on the “just, pure, lovely.” That’s what I attempt to do each day for myself, and what I share here both to remind myself and for any others who stumble upon this site.
Föreslå is another theme of my life, one more recent. It means forward, in Swedish. To me, it means not becoming complacent in comfort but seeking knowledge, working hard, preparing, studying, and maintaining. Always moving forward, föreslå.
With those focuses in mind, I’ll write here, sharing scribbles in my paper journal, or thoughts I’m mulling over as I roam Saunter, our forest farm. The topics may be about what I’m learning, for example, I’m currently learning about soil, micro-climate gardening, and publishing designs. Or I may write about what I’m doing: nature crafts, fermenting, sketching; or the topics could be on what I’m thinking about.

A note: If you dig deeply enough, you’ll bump into several hundred posts that were written years ago. They were originally published on sites that are now down, so in order to save them, I collected them here. Originally, I unpublished all of the old posts, but recently I got lost in those archives and thought maybe those words and images should stay in cyberspace. We never know when someone may need to read what we wrote.
I hope you’re also writing and/or creating. The world needs us to help it, don’t you think?
